I'm Nick! I was born in South Africa, grew up in Australia and moved to the UK in 2010. My dad is Bristish and my mum is Japanese so I have definately racked up the air miles over the years. I love playing/watching Football in my spare time and keep active by going to the gym. Away from sport I enjoy reading and cooking.
Background
Nick is a passionate PE Teacher who brings a wealth of sport and fitness experience to the school. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Northumbria University. He has taught in both mainstream and PRU settings; this has allowed him to understand how to motivate young people with challenging behaviour and special needs.

On a personal level, Nick has been a sportsman from a young age, winning many awards in different sports. As a semi-professional footballer, Nick has had the unique accomplishment of playing at Wembley in the FA Vase final.

Nick’s experiences as a teacher and high achieving sportsman, allow him to build up positive relationships with young people, showing them how they can develop both inside and outside the classroom. He sees sport as a way of building character and self- belief.
